MAIDEN ESCET EXHIBITION


  The Enugu State College of Education Technical on 21st April, 2021 held the Student Centered Technical Vocational activity tagged "ESCET EXHIBITION". This exhibition was aimed at raising more skillful persons and positioning ESCET as a sellable institution capable of producing technocrats that can compete globally.


   His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi ably represented by The Hon. Commissioner For Education, Prof. Uche Eze thanked the Students Union who conceived the idea of the exhibition to project to the world what the college is capable of doing. He said that, Enugu State has as one of her vision the development of technically skilled work force.

His Excellency went further to say that,  Enugu State College of Education Technical is not an ordinary College of Education but the College of Education that is established to produce teachers with technical skills who can teach and bring up young ones with requisite technical knowledge needed in the production sector. 


   Earlier, the Provost of the College, Dr. Hyacinth Osondu Eze in his address, said that the purpose of the exhibition was to showcase the creativity/talents of their students in their different fields which are necessary in the contemporary scientific and technological society. He further said.… "the college is fulfilling her mandate of teaching, research and community service, with particular reference to teacher - education. She has done this with great  passion and with  resounding success which include producing highly skilled and dedicated crop of middle and high level teachers; and winning the 2nd position in Colleges of Education category of 3rd National Education Innovation Exhibition 2014 held in Old Parade Ground Abuja".



The Chairman, Governing Council Enugu State College Of Education Technical,  Amb. Fidelia Njeze praised the Students Union Executives for their efforts and promised to encourage them.
