ENUGU STATE SHINES AGAIN

The Hon. Commissioner for Education, Prof. Uche Eze has praised the effort of teachers especially the principal of Urban Girls Secondary School, Enugu for emerging as the 1st runner up – Best Administrator in Junior Secondary School category in Nigeria at the 2020 edition of the President’s Teachers, school Excellence Award. The Commissioner made the remarks when the principal of Urban Girls Secondary School, Enugu paid him a visit to officially present her award to him. In his words, hardwork will always be rewarded either here or there. It behoves on all teachers to put in their best in the knowledge that someday, their efforts will be rewarded. The principal Mrs. Chioma Ebue, who was in high spirit thanked the state government for the opportunity given to her to serve and for provision of the enabling environment including necessary infrastructure and equipment, which facilitated her attainment of the great feat.
